The RecyClass Online Tool has been developed in accordance with the RecyClass Recyclability Methodology and Design for Recycling Guidelines. The RecyClass approach is aligned with the EN 13430 standard for the European market, and can therefore support the industry in demonstrating the recyclability requirements stipulated in the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation through the Declaration of Conformity*.
The RecyClass Online Tool report may be used as supporting technical evidence within the manufacturer's technical documentation but shall not, by itself, be considered sufficient evidence of conformity with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR). The manufacturer remains solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, the completeness of the technical documentation, and the issuance of the Declaration of Conformity*.
The Aluminium and Steel modules of the RecyClass Online Tool have been developed in accordance with the Design for Recycling guidelines established by CIRCPACK. The Design for Recycling Guidelines are living documents so any comment or contribution to improve them should be addressed to CIRCPACK who is maintaining the guidelines.
